Paxcroft Mead Community Forum was formally inaugurated at a meeting in the community centre on October 14th. Steering group chairman Jonathan Hawkes explained to about 40 residents how the Forum would work and what it could achieve. The terms of reference of the Forum were adopted and a committee of nine residents set up.

The Forum will be able to act as a voice for the community in dealing with problems such as future developments and parking provision.

Details of how to contact the Paxcroft Mead Community Forum are at www.paxcroftmead.org.uk/forum .

If you live on Paxcroft Mead you'll know that the estate has a Community Centre and club at its heart. More people are though needed to keep the centre thriving.

The PMCC website is at http://www.paxcroftmead.org.uk . It includes the latest PM newsletter and contact details.
