Wiltshire schools join SATS boycott

8.09.00am BST (GMT +0100) Fri 21st May 2010

Seven schools in Wiltshire have agreed to join the boycott of SATS being promoted by teaching unions, with 22 more saying they're still undecided.

The information was released in response to a question by Trowbridge councillor Jeff Osborn.

Wiltshire Council has a legal duty to make sure the exams are 'appropriately undertaken' and will make random visits to schools to see what they're doing.

It's believed that the number of schools boycotting the exams could rise, especially as the tyrannical New Labour educational regime has fallen.
